Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics Moscow

As an opening, without any hesitate, I could say that this is one of the coolest museum I’ve ever visited. Yeah, the name of this museum is Космонавтикий Музей or Museum of Cosmonautics. It is located at Prospekt Mira, near from the V-D-N-Kh Metro Station. Around 30-45 minutes to reach it from the center of Moscow.

To enter this museum, you need to pay for 250 rubles, or around 4 dollars (only 100 rubles if you bring your student card!), but if you want to take photos or videos by DSLR/Pocket Camera, you need to pay another ticket for 250 rubles. If you just use your smartphone, it will be free! To be honest, there are many interesting stuff you may never seen before, so it almost impossible if you don’t take any picture at all.

This museum is built by the Soviet Government dedicated to their success on space exploration.  Opening ceremonies took place on April 10, 1981, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the day Yuri Gagarin became the first human to orbit the Earth in space.

Guests are welcome to visit this museum to see and learn about the space history and culture, space science, exhibition of arts related to space, space technology (not only from Russia, but also the other countries), and more, but if you are curious and want to try the Astrofood (food and drinks that consumed in the space) you need to pay 400 rubles. And also there is a cinema inside that will show you film about space.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand Russian language, because they also show many information in English!

Actually I don't know what else to write, if I had another chance to visit this museum again, I would like to spend more time here to read and learn all the information they prepared, unfortunately, my time was short, but of course I will show you some photos I took there. I really like them even they just from the phone camera!
